- Search by name, meaning or use ("celebrate", "sale", "pointing"), or browse a category above.
- Tap or click the emoji. It is copied to your clipboard right away and a check mark confirms it.
- Paste it wherever you write: Instagram and TikTok captions, X, WhatsApp, email subject lines, Google Docs, Slack, product listings or your own site.
Need several at once? Switch to Build Kit, tap the emoji you want to keep, then use Copy all in My Kit to copy the whole set in one go. Your kit and your recently copied emoji stay in this browser only.
To pair your emoji with bold, cursive or circled words, use the fancy text generator, which restyles the letters and leaves the emoji unchanged.
Emoji copy and paste questions
Will the copied emoji work everywhere?
Yes. Every emoji here is a native Unicode character, the same one your keyboard would type, so it pastes into any app, site or document that accepts text. On an older computer that never received the newest emoji, this page draws those few with a built-in font so you can still pick them, and says so when you hover one. What you copy is the real character either way.
Why does an emoji look different after I paste it?
Each platform draws emoji in its own style: Apple, Google, Samsung, Microsoft and WhatsApp all have their own artwork. You copy the character, and the destination draws it with its own font. That is also why this site shows emoji in your device's own style rather than as images.
How do I copy emoji with a different skin tone?
Pick a default in the Skin tone control next to the search box. Emoji that support skin tones are then copied in that tone, and each such emoji also opens a panel with all of its variants.
Which emoji are included?
1,897 emoji from Unicode Emoji 17.0, grouped into 9 categories, with searchable names, keywords and shortcodes. Read more on the About page.
Is EmojiCopyKit free?
Yes. There is no account, no sign-up, no cookies and no personal tracking. The copy-ready marketing emoji kits and industry emoji kits are free too.
