Match the stars you show to the real rating, and use a speech bubble or quote-style emoji to visually separate someone else's words from your own claims. Using these emoji well
- A star rating only belongs on the page when it reflects an actual score from a named platform or review set; don't add stars as decoration next to a claim with no rating behind it.
- Use a review quote exactly as the customer wrote it, and name the source or platform so readers can verify it if they want to.
- A row of stars is read as "star, star, star…", so state the rating in text ("[rating] out of 5 on [platform]") beside it.
- Repeating the same celebration emoji next to every post dilutes the ones that mark a genuinely notable result, so save the biggest reactions for real milestones.
- Ask before naming a customer publicly.
